Both sci.psychology.psychotherapy and its
sister newsgroup,
sci.psychology.psychotherapy.moderated, have basically the
same "leadership" -- leaders that either are lying, defamatory
harassers and stalkers and/or who solicit anonymous psychopathic
liars, defamers, harassers and stalkers to do dirty work for them
(to suppress facts and views and basically to censor much
reasonable, on-topic free speech in these supposed sci newsgroups).

with an overall statement that well-summarizes the source of all the malice

to suppress facts and well-founded views about the field of psychotherapy and
there is NO other
significant motivation, except the sick, psychopathic "kicks" of the
punks who have been elicited or
solicited to "help"; this and the other web pages also present a
good amount of evidence to substantiate

First, let me address the entire situation and the history of the abuse on the
psychotherapy
'science' newsgroups. This will be followed by "footnotes" on
the main leaders of the
sci.psychology.psychotherapy newsgroup behind THE CONTINUING LIES AND
MALICE.
THIS PAGE CONSTITUTES A HISTORY OF
THE INTERPERSONAL ATTACKS
AGAINST ME ON sci.psychology.psychotherapy THAT HAVE GONE ON FOR OVER
** 7 YEARS **. (The rest of this page has not been thoroughly updated
since June 2002, so the time
spans of the abuses referred to should be understood to be AS OF THAT
DATE. All other references
to dates or time spans based on the date of the writing below should be taken to
mean: relative to
June 2002. This is true of the other web pages that address the problems I
have had with persons
stalking, harassing, or defaming me.) Now to the "meat" of
this expose'.:
Objective investigators will see that it is nothing short
of a campaign of
MALICIOUS, FALSE DEFAMATION *_AND_* THAT IT IS MOTIVATED BY
PSYCHOLOGY PEOPLE WANTING TO SUPPRESS AND CENSOR FACTS AND
VIEWS.
There has been a history of lies, abuse, and stalking and harassment by
leaders of the sci.psychology.psychotherapy and the
sci.psychology.psychotherapy.moderated newsgroups. The details of this
harassment clearly show that this activity is motivated by the desire
to censor the posting of legitimate on-topic FACTS and views about
the state of the "science" of psychotherapy.
It is
important to realize that the malicious lying, stalking,
harassing, and threatening behaviors described below were
* NOT * short-lived. Several of the attacks lasted a year or
more and some have lasted several years. For example,
the involvement of the alt.usenet.kooks newsgroup lasted
a long time. One psychologist, and clear leader of the
sci.psychology.psychotherapy newsgroup, posted to that
abuse and harassment newsgroup many hundreds of times
and posted more to that newsgroup one year than to ALL
other newsgroups combined. This was NY licensed psychologist
Leslie Packer (you will note her name and that of her
sick pal and another clear leader of s.p.p., Peter Hood -- masters
degree from U of Leicester, U.K. -- mentioned several times below).

THE MOST RECENT STALKING AND HARASSMENT BY PROXY,
DONE BY PSYCHOLOGISTS' ANONYMOUS PAL 'Just
Taylor':
'Just Taylor', AKA Just Joe Jared, commits illegal acts and I say so in writing
without hiding. Taylor was solicited to do the dirty work for psychologists
here and in particular the dirty work of Peter Hood (masters in Forensic Psyc.,
U Leicester, U.K. around the year 2000) and the sick NY tourettes psychologist,
Leslie E. Packer.
Taylor never interacted with Brad J (me) except for 9 months in 2001-2002 to do
stalking and harassment. He has never been a participant in or on-topic in the
newsgroups I participate in. He is a stalking punk, "gun-for-hire".
'Just Taylor' has NOTHING but aliases and falsely registered anonymous
web site domains. He hides his identity in every way possible, even
where any decent person gives his identity. Not only are his web domains
and sites anonymous through being falsely registered, but 'Just Taylor'
NEVER gives his name on any of his web sites (or on any web pages). 'Just
Taylor' AKA "Taylor Jimenez" is nothing but an anonymous stalker and
harasser and he does it for the sci.psychology.psychotherapy and
sci.psychology.psychotherapy.moderated leadership. This is explained on

The evidence indicates the anonymous stalker/harasser/forger/liar/defamer,
'Just Taylor', may well be Joe Jared and may well make his living
presently in part off of pornography, including TEEN pornography. Also

site there is a link to over 500 forgeries associated with this man --
this is his manufactured evidence, created to supplement his irresponsible
false speculation, gross intentional misrepresentations, and outright lies

Their behavior is a disgrace to the field of psychology and

Now, for a larger (though less detailed) account of the history of
misconduct by psychologists and their "friends" on spp, read the
following totally accurate and documentable history of the
psychotherapy newsgroups, what is know as "the spp FAQ".

This FAQ about the sci.psychology.psychotherapy newsgroupS.
It is to warn people of the problems in the spp newsgroup and
real dangers in participating in the spp newsgroup without being anon.
Many similar cautions hold for sci.psychology.psychotherapy.moderated since
several of the bad acts described below were committed by a number
of the leaders of THAT group. (A QUICK SENSIBLE 'ADVANCED
SEARCH' using http://groups.google.com will quickly verify all the charges
made below.)
Thus this FAQ is about the sci.psychology.psychotherapy newsgroup and
its sister newsgroup, sci.psychology.psychotherapy.moderated.
It is a summary of the way the regular psychologists
in sci.psychology.psychotherapy and their friends have responded
to the posting of certain facts and views. They have responded with
aggression and abject thuggery. While they complain about this summary of
their behavior (below), it is all true. *Their* libelous personal web "FAQ"
against me, their primary critic, was originally "maintained" by a
notorious 'Net hoodlum, Peter Hood , who threatened physical assault
several times (he was once and may still be a graduate student and has
obtained a masters degree in Forensic Psychology at the Univ. of Leicester, U.K ).
To be totally accurate and complete: Peter Hood was simply the first
person to host a version of the "FAQ" on an Internet web site.
The personal off-topic FAQ began as a newsgroup post in early 1996,
posted anonymously to harass me for my facts and views. It was
originally written by sppm ombudsman, Paul Bernhardt in 1996 !
It was posted anonymously over and over, in a stalking and
harassing manner on the spp newsgroup for a VERY long time. Paul
Bernhardt eventually confessed to being the original author. The
original "FAQ" was purely personal, off-topic, and malicious and
contained personal (address, ph. no., etc.) information on me to
facilitate and encourage harassment and defamation. This
"FAQ"
has been successful in its disgraceful and malicious purposes. For
six
years I have been a victim of progressively worse such "FAQs".
I can no longer participate on psychology newsgroups.
Enough of this preface. Here is the summary of the aggression of psychologists and
other regulars in the sci.psychology.psychotherapy newsgroup, known as the official
sppFAQ:
The Psychologists in spp are irresponsible Hoodlums and
NOT to be TRUSTED. Be anonymous in spp or do not
be in spp at all, for your own good. All the following
is true of many, if not the majority of psychologists
participating on this newsgroup (and a number
of them are leaders of the sister newsgroup, sppm).
Psychologists on Usenet are lucky that the APA does not view
most all of what they do as acting as professionals. Psychologists,
without consequences from the Amer. Psychological Assoc.,
can act in just about any asinine way anyone else can. They
routinely violate General Ethical Principles they have sworn to
uphold.
Psychologists on this newsgroup (regular participants)
have done all of the following. :
* repeated groundless accusations in a harassing
manner (many, many times and many, many places over
several years) (esp. Leslie Packer) [Much of Leslie
Packer's
posting record has been "NUKED" by her from the deja/google
archive,
since her posting behavior is so shameful (in contrast, I have
NEVER
had to "nuke" any of my posts). Because of this,
you will see the account
of Leslie Packer's stalking/ harassing, malicious defamation
(which is based
on lies) IN
MY RESPONSES
to her posts (though often her posts will be
quoted in my responses). Many of the false accusations are
based
on the false claims of one Diane Unterspan. No evidence
was ever
provided for Unterspan's or Packer's false and defamatory
claims. NONE.]
* stalked people to their local and jobs newsgroups
(Dr. John Price and other psychologists and their terrorist pals)
* participated in abusive newsgroups (Leslie Packer & Dr. Dan
Rogers most but several others as well)
* led campaigns to have people voted as "KOOKS"
in abuse newsgroups (esp. Leslie Packer and sppm moderators,
Dan Rogers and Kim Barnard (aka "Kali" of lart.com))
* intentionally lied and misrepresented things
to do character assassination (many, many times
and many, many places over several years) (too many
to list)
* told psychotherapy clients to "blow their brains
out" ( Leslie Packer)
* supported libelous web sites making many
false and groundless accusations and engaging
in much intentional misrepresentation AND LIES
(e.g. Peter Hood's libelous web site filled with
unsubstantiated allegations, e.g. about "aliases",
and full of misrepresentations has been foremost.
This thuggery and worse is now conducted
anonymously by cowardly hoodlums, linked to abuse
domains set up by these same hoodlums)
* encouraged thugs to join in and do whatever
nasty stuff they might to "punish" people
with views they do not like, including Cipher and
Phoenix, Taylor Jimenez (aka Taylor Netsum, AKA
Just Joe Jared -- likely his REAL name), Crawdad,
ICEMAN, and a number of other known Usenet hoodlums.
(The abuse domains used by some of these punk hoods
appear to be used not only for their terroristic activities, but
by at least one convicted child molester.)
* supported people who posted personal info.
about people they did not like in a clear
effort to solicit harassment (and they did quite a bit of this
themselves. Peter Hood has done this and John Price,
most recently and notably --and he has done so several times)
* supported a person who repeatedly made threats
of physical assault and who threatened to
actually stalk another in RL (Note: The person making
the threats was Peter Hood. Leslie Packer, after
those threats of physical assault, declared herself Peter Hood #2
and virtually all the psychologists who participate in spp
have given themselves PH#. ASK ALL THE PSYCHOLOGISTS IN SPP FOR
THEIR PH#, they proudly have one!

* supported a person who expressly threatened
illegal actions against another (Peter Hood was

* supported the frequent, improper and harassing
posting of "FAQs" that were purely off-topic and
existed ONLY to do slander/libel/character assassination
and to solicit harassment of that person (including those by
anonymous cowards out of abuse newsgroups). (Paul
Bernhardt,
sppm ombudsman, also among them.) This is especially
ironic and hypocritical because one of the tactics once used
to try to drive facts and views they did not like off the spp
newsgroup was to absolutely insist that there be NO off-topic
or ad hominen posts and that posts NOT be repetitive.
They
take a totally different attitude towards pro-'therapy'
posters,
tolerating and supporting anything and everything. The spp
newsgroup is presently filled with nothing but the off-topic
hate
of the "friends of 'therapy'".
* guided their children to vote for people as
"KOOKS" on abuse newsgroups (Leslie Packer).
(Both Justin and Loren were her underage children.)

* threatened and slandered/libeled people whose
views they disagreed with in many ways -- still going
on, along with email harassment, and other forms of
harassment and terroristic threats.
* posted repeats of unsubstantiated allegations
in an intentionally off-topic and extremely
harassing manner.
* joined abusive newsgroup groups (several psychologists
did this and, of course, Peter Hood; psychologists Leslie Packer and
John Price and Dan Rogers were among them -- the latter 2 being
sppm moderators. John Price actually started his own hate
newsgroup. )
* some psychologists have clearly themselves engaged
in stalking and harassing behavior, posting
to peoples' local newsgroups and to jobs
newsgroups (esp. Dr. John Price, sppm moderator).
* supported sending out "evidence" against people
to people in the real world to destroy a
person's chances to get work ( Peter Hood, especially
but others were clearly involved)
* filed many bogus actions and complaints with
authorities of all types to do further
harassment (eventually many of the authorities
came to know the "true colors" of these
hoodlum psychologists and their pals; this was
spearheaded by Leslie Packer and Peter Hood)
(NO charges were ever made and no legal action ever
taken on behalf of these sick harassers, Leslie and Peter.)
* filed many false complaints with ISPs and EMPLOYERS
to have services canceled. (Leslie Packer, esp., but
also
'Dr.' Mark
Morin, sppm moderator has made complaints
to an ISP of someone he simply disagrees with)
* set up automatic remailers to allow and encourage
anonymous harassment of people with views they
did not like. (John Grohol, founder of spp and sppm
did this and last time I checked this abuse device was still
in existence after many, many years.)
* engaged in obvious lying about and misrepresentation
of research and the facts. (Done by virtually all regularly
participating psychologists in the spp newsgroup BUT was
done in the most scientifically unacceptable way by Dr.
John Grohol. Dan Rogers is also guilty of this.)
* told intentional obvious pure lies to publicly libel/slander/defame
me
(and perhaps others). Dan Rogers, sppm moderator, is one of
the biggest ridiculous intentional and malicious liars. They
also
lie about, and back lies about, the excellent free Java
program offered to teachers/psychologists/psychiatrists on
this site -- for NO reason except pure malice. (This
again
is contrary to their stated purpose, to advance a science.)
This is the way psychologists on Usenet have acted. BUT,
THIS IS NOT A COMPLETE LISTING OF ALL IMPROPRIETIES.
Two of the psychologists involved in much of the
above activity had complaints filed against them
with the APA. One quit the APA before the charges
could be considered. The other got off.
In short people, the psychologists on Usenet
can act as badly as anyone and have no obligation
to treat you even decently. They might very well
tell you to FOAD ("F*** off and die") or tell you
to "blow your brains out" (and they HAVE).
The aggression noted above has also been associated with
harassing phonings and emailings. Nasty hackers have also
been engaged in their dirty work (such as currently).

Story of the spp newsgroup (in brief) (8 YEAR HISTORY):
After a year and a half of debating with a certain person (me), this person
won the debate because the field had no good citations and offered up only
ones that were bogus. For example, one supposed study to make their point was
written only in a journal in Chinese and was only available in the U.S. at a university
in Oregon!! -- the old deja record, now supposedly part of google, would
make for some very fun reading here; use search terms: Grohol, Chinese ... .
[Then A NEW LEADER APPEARS FOR THE 'THERAPISTS'
(Leslie Packer,
aka Peter Hood #2) <--Leslie Packer is Peter Hood #2 and began the Peter Hood
fan club.] This Leslie Packer became, informally but
obviously, the new clear leader of
the spp newsgroup in 1996. Peter Hood was/is her main henchman.
Then, the evil "therapists" turned to:
about a year and a half of making baseless accusations over and over
and over again and again in the spp newsgroup and began some of their
anonymous and FAQ campaigns. The first anon posts which occurred in
this newsgroup were pro-therapy and FREQUENT. Again, a special device to
encourage and enable anon email abuse and the filing of anon bogus
complaints was set up by the psychologist who founded this newsgroup.
This did not work.
Then, the evil "therapists" turned to:
spending much or most of their time befriending the hoodlum leaders of
alt.usenet.kooks and voting for people as kooks and voting people as
"not human". Peter Hood #1 made his threats of illegal activity
during this period and behaved shamelessly, since he was not yet in
psychology graduate school yet. (His behavior, out of necessity, is
now better -- unless he is one of the anon hoodlums.)
That did not work.
Then the evil "therapists" began enlisting the help of "whoever",
including
Usenet's most notorious and nasty hoodlums (such as those from
alt.hackers.malicious). They have supported and aided and abetted
these terrorists for over 2 years now.
THIS WILL NOT WORK.
IT IS DOUBTFUL PSYCHOLOGISTS WILL FIGURE OUT WHAT DOES WORK
EVEN THOUGH THE ANSWERS TO THE FIELD'S PROBLEMS ONCE
APPEARED
REGULARLY IN THE NEWSGROUPS.
Some of the best psychologists in the field agree with the science FAQ
that was once
posted by me or my friends
monthly. Instead of taking that advice, the newsgroup psychologists
defend against testing themselves, as they would have to in order to establish a science,
BY AGGRESSING (as they have done for over 6 years now).
FINALLY, let me address how the APA has no real regard
for their General Ethical Principles
and will do NOTHING to protect you from these hoodlums. The APA has
repeatedly shown that they will do nothing to APA members who flagrantly and
intentionally and publicly violate the General Ethical Principles these psychologists have
SWORN to uphold. There are NO consequences whatsoever for psychologists who
blatantly and flagrantly violate any OR ALL of the General Ethical Principles
EVEN IF THEY DO THIS IN PUBLIC and even if they do so repeatedly.
My assessment:
Well, I think the APA is way off base and think
that the extent to which it allows its members to
obviously act in ways not congruent with general ethical
principles they have sworn to uphold is nothing
short of insane (by the legal definition). This is one of
the shortest and best proofs that large numbers of
psychologists are insane and thus untrustworthy. If you
can't seem to see the difference between right and wrong,
then you are untrustworthy. Period. But the APA's misconduct
goes even beyond this.
The same APA publishes bogus studies and actively avoids doing or
supporting necessary basic foundation research, because it is bad for
business (see my home web site for details). This
same "professional"
lobby group certifies the quality of programs in higher education for
practicing clinical/counseling psychologists!!
AGAIN, in summary:
It should be noted that a number of the same psychologists
who have aggressed in so many inappropriate ways are
"moderators" of the sister newsgroup, sppm. And:

behavior by psychologists and psychology leaders is to suppress the
