AS THIS NEWSGROUP HAS DEMONSTRATED:
The reason MANY, MANY people go "into psychology" is because:
They are sickos and they are interested in themselves.
And many therapists use their clients as much as
the other way around in several ways (interpersonal compensation,
power strivings, to force their morality). Sick compensation !!
And, they get into the psychology program in an effort to get themselves
well (which NEVER works). Or (at best), they found "therapy"
interesting while they were in it. (Kind of like O.J. taking up law.)
Too often its an interpersonal power compensation (to make up for a
small dickand/or ***poor*** human relations !!!!) Combine poor
human relations and pathology and power strivings and really being judgmental
and pushy and you have about the worst possible combination of traits
for a helper, but this is very common amongs psychologists. They are
defensive and incapable of true empathy and are dependent tools of the
system. As we have seen, their Ph.D.s mean NOTHING !!!!
Just one possible example we have seen hear recently:
Power strivings are shown by frequent postings and claims of
trying to stamp out "evil." This also shows the pathology of some
aspiring psychologists. Also manic tendencies may be shown in frequent
postings -- this shows pathology and the real IRRATIONAL drive behind some.
They are just NUTS !!!! They will never be able to hold a respectable job.
